Open document with references and guidelines on interdisciplinary research.

The Protocol for Interdisciplinary Research has the objective to provide useful references and guidelines to institutions, funding organisations, individual researchers and interdisciplinary research groups. The document considers a great number of experiences and perspectives about interdisciplinary work and it is an open document in a constant process of review and discussion.

The document is the outcome of the exchange of experiences and the theoretical discussion among the participants in three workshops.

The first draft is edited by Simon Penny and is based on the participant’s contributions in the workshop about interdisciplinary research called Synergies (Hangar. 28th - 30th June, 2013) and with emphasis on work done by Roc Parés, Mara Balestrini and Swen Seebach.

The second version is edited by Tere Badia and Marta Gracia and is based on the participant’s contributions in the workshop about interdisciplinary research and knowledge transfer WIRKT (Hangar. 10th - 12th July, 2014).

The third version is written by Irene Lapuente, Pau Alsina, Roc Parés, Ramon Sangüesa, Laura Benítez, Stella Veciana, Reimund Fickert, Mariona Moncunill, Anna Moreno, Jara Rocha, Vanina Hofman, y Josep Perelló. The writing process took place using writing collaborative methodologies under booksprint format (Hostalric, 16th - 17th April 2015) and under the coordination of Swen Seebach, Tere Badia and Marta Gracia.
